From News Center (Text by Mo Xinyan, School of Finance and Logistics Management; Photo by Lai Qingzhen, School of Arts, and Huang Haoran, School of Electronic Information Engineering)  From November 22 to 30, 2025, a delegation of 19 outstanding students, led by two faculty members from the Student Affairs Department of LVTC Party Committee and the School of International Education, departed from Nanning Railway Station and arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam, after a 12-hour journey. The delegation embarked on a week-long cross-border exchange program themed "Youth Together, Skills Shared, Culture Connected".

Upon arriving in Hanoi, the delegation received a warm welcome from the faculty and students of the Hanoi College of Electromechanics (HCEM) in Vietnam. At the welcome ceremony, young people from both countries exchanged commemorative gifts and shared visions for cooperation. The talent performances were equally impressive: The graceful movements of Chinese classical dance blended with the melodious sounds of Vietnamese traditional music, and the ethnic costume show highlighted the distinctive cultural charm of both countries. The continuous applause quickly brought the two groups of students closer together.

During the exchange, the students gained in both "hard skills" and "soft culture" experiences. At the training bases of HCEM, they observed advanced teaching equipment in fields such as power engineering and mechatronics, and participated in hands-on training under the careful guidance of professional instructors, gaining an immersive understanding of the distinctive features of Vietnamese vocational education and its strengths in industry-education integration. At the China-Vietnam Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Seminar, students from both countries engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as technological innovation and entrepreneurial practice. They shared typical cases and exchanged ideas, fully demonstrating the professionalism and innovative vitality of the younger generation. In addition, friendly matches in balloon volleyball and badminton were held one after another, where students competed, cooperated, and strengthened their friendship through both sweat and laughter.

The cultural experience activities were equally engaging. Guided by local teachers, students learned to make Vietnamese spring rolls, which were fresh, sweet, sour, and especially delicious when made by hand. At the hand-painted conical hat workshop, they created unique pieces of folk art with every stroke. In the Vietnamese language mini-class, lively pronunciation exercises brought constant laughter and offered students a real sense of the cultural meaning behind the language.

"This trip not only taught me new skills, but also brought me new friends!" Many students shared such feelings on their way back. This cross-border exchange not only deepened mutual understanding and trust between the two institutions, but also laid a foundation for further cooperation in the future. More importantly, it enabled Chinese and Vietnamese youth to grow together through mutual learning and shared experiences, allowing their friendship to cross borders and flourish with warmth.

It is known that this student exchange is an important component in advancing cooperation between the two institutions and supporting the development of the Luban Workshop. As one of LZPU's key partners in Vietnam, HCEM is a leading vocational education institution in the country in fields such as mechanical manufacturing and electrical electronics, and its industry-education integration model offers valuable experience for LZPU. Previously, HCEM had already sent teachers to LZPU for exchange and study. This return visit by LZPU students further enriched the cooperation between the two institutions and strengthened the inter-school friendship through mutual engagement.
